JPMorgan Chase & Co. is closing its Finn digital bank, a no-fee brand that was an attempt to lure younger customers, the Wall Street Journal reported.

The bank decided its Chase unit was better equipped to meet those consumers’ needs, according the newspaper, which cited people familiar with the matter. Clients started getting notifications Thursday and funds are being transferred to Chase checking and savings accounts.

Finn, which was rolled out nationwide in June 2018, offered a digital app as well as some branch access, according to the report. As part of the switch, customers will have to download Chase’s mobile app and receive a new debit card, but account numbers won’t change.

The newspaper didn’t say how many customers are affected. JPMorgan (JPM) didn’t immediately comment.
