Wrigley Field Rocked by Snow Storm

Wednesday, 02 February 2011 12:07 PM EST

Snow storms continue to pound most of the country, and Chicago is no exception, as Wrigley Field has been damaged Tuesday night by the storm, causing tiles to fall from the roof of the press box.

The 97 year old stadium was rocked by high winds from the snowstorm that caused the tiles to plunge.

Emergency Management spokesman Roderick Drew says that the incident caused nearby streets to close until maintenance crews could repair the tiles. The situation, he says, will be continually monitored.
