It may seem impossible to prepare for a terror attack. After all, terrorists don’t typically announce their plans to the public ahead of time, so you don’t know where or when a terror attack may strike.

Be aware of your surroundings.

If you have any “funny feelings,” don’t ignore them. It’s far better to report something that turns out to be nothing than to ignore evidence that turns out to be an attack.
Make an emergency plan.

Have a supply kit in your home and car.
In the event of a biological, chemical, or radiation attack, items like a mask, radiation pills, and water purification bottles or pills can save your life while you wait for help to come.

Have food and water ready.
Your home should always have at least 72 hours of water and food for each family member, and it’s not a bad idea to stash some water and nonperishable food items in your car as well, according to Survivalist Prepper
You may not be at home when a terror attack takes place.
Have a way to get news and communicate.
If a large scale attack happens, cell towers may be out of commission and power may be out.
