When it comes to living expenses, Hawaii is one of the most expensive places in the country to reside. And while the minimum wage is gradually being increased in Hawaii, it still remains low when it comes to the cost of living on these beautiful South Pacific islands.
The current minimum wage in Hawaii is $7.75, which is up 50 cents from 2014, but still significantly less than what it costs to live in relative comfort in even the least expensive parts of the state.
