Mossberg Pistols: Unlike most other gun manufacturers, Mossberg doesn’t make many pistols. The only ones in production are automatic, meaning they fire a high quantity of rounds rapidly. They have a variety of types in their inventory, but the 715P Semi Automatic model stands above the rest.

According to the gun afficianado website CheaperThanDirt.com, “This fun .22 pistol is lightweight, easy to shoot, and perfect for small game, plinking, target shooting or clearing cottonmouths out of your duck blind.”

This specific model is so easy to use that many sites recommend it for beginner shooters. In a review at PersonalDefenseWorld.com, they explain that the 715P is “an accurate, enjoyable handgun,” and ultimately conclude that it’s optimal for newer users: “This pistol could be a great fun for training new shooters.”

Mossberg Rifles: Mossberg makes three different types of rifles whose distinction is their loading mechanism. There’s the lever-action, bolt-action, and autoloading models, which all incorporate numerous recent modern adaptations, helping solidify Mossberg as a leading innovator in the firearm industry.

Mossberg won the National Association of Sporting Good Wholesaler's (NASGW) “Innovator of the Year” award in 2014, and twice since 2012.

Mossberg rifles, specifically the MVP series are designed for hunting larger game. TheTruthAboutGuns.com explains, “It’s designed for hunting coyote, bobcats, and fox.”
These models are good for more experienced hunters looking for both power and efficiency.

Mossberg Shotguns: The shotgun is Mossberg’s best seller by a wide margin, and it’s not even close. Forbes.com wrote, “Mossberg is the largest pump-action shotgun manufacturer in the world.” Shotgun demand is high, and so is supply, Forbes reported: “According to records kept by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), Mossberg made 475,364 guns in America in 2011. Of those guns, a total of 423,570 were shotguns.”

These firearms can be used for a vast spectrum of shooters, including hunters, police, and both new and experienced users. Forbes.com concludes, “They’re made for sportsmen, for shotgun sports enthusiasts, for law-enforcement and for people who want a shotgun to protect their homes and families.”
