While many Christians look down upon using cosmetic surgery to enhance or maintain a person's appearance, celebrities often consider looking good to be an essential part of the job.

Here are five famous Christians that had work done:

1. In 2009, actor Mickey Rourke told a Bosnian newspaper he thanked God and his Catholic faith for giving him a "second chance" in life to overcome his addictions, which almost led him to commit suicide, according to the Catholic News Agency. Rourke has also admitted having plastic surgery procedures on his cheek and nose.
