An extremely poisonous Egyptian cobra escaped into the concrete jungle of New York after fleeing its enclosure at the Bronx Zoo.
Zoo officials closed the reptile house late Friday “out of an abundance of caution,” a statement said.
The young, venomous cobra is 20-inches-long, but zoo officials believe it is in an isolated area within the zoo.
As of Sunday, the killer snake was still missing.
