By    |   Friday, 07 January 2011 08:58 AM

Newsmax Fast Features readers are being treated to a sneak preview of the latest single in the Internet sensation series, “The Beatles Complete on Ukulele.” The Beatles’ “Let It Be” features vocals by President Barack Obama.

“TheBeatles Complete On Ukulele Beatles Complete on Ukulele,” created by composer and artist David Barratt, has been churning out Beatles songs with guest vocals and various instrumentation for more than two years, but this is the first time that the president’s voice has graced the project.

The “Let It Be” video, being streamed at Newsmax Fast Features for the first time, will go live across the Web on Jan. 11.

Story continues below video.

“The Beatles always stood for peace and creativity,” Barratt says. “The ukulele is the perfect way to continue that message in the 21st century.

“’The Beatles Complete on Ukulele’ hold this truth to be self-evident: The world would be a nicer place if every citizen spent ‘a little bit of time’ playing the ukulele,” he says.

Barratt has written for artists such as Robert Plant, lead David Barratt Beatles Ukulelevocalist and lyricist for Led Zeppelin. He also has produced works for singer David Bowie, and written scores for numerous advertising campaigns. Even the United Nations General Assembly took notice of Barratt in 2008 when it installed his audio sculpture, KARITO.

On March 11, International Ukulele Day, “The Beatles Complete on Ukulele” will present to leaders of the international community a signed ukulele. The package will contain a simple instructional video on how to play “Let It Be,” a chord chart, and a request to take a minute and “chill out.”

Here at Fast Features, we hope to keep you up to date with the most recent lifestyle, health, and finance information in a light and good humored way. We hope this video helps break up your day and puts a smile on your face. Enjoy!

“Let It Be” will go live across the Web on Jan. 11., at The Beatles ukulele site.
