President Obama overlooked the millions of babies killed by abortionists in his State of the Union — and the millions of mothers harmed or dead as a result of botched procedures.
Instead, the president focused on gun control, saying "in the two months since Newtown, more than a thousand birthdays, graduations, anniversaries have been stolen from our lives by a bullet from a gun. More than a thousand.”
What about the millions of birthdays taken by abortionists under the direction of Planned Parenthood?
The death count keeps rising, but our most visible leaders, such as the president, don’t seem too concerned with the overwhelming loss of life associated with abortion and harmful contraceptives in this country
Guns don’t take nearly as many lives as abortion. And I can assure you that women of all ages, shapes, sizes and ethnicities are dying.
I don't dismiss gun deaths. My grandmother and uncle were killed with guns and bullets. But why focus only on these deaths?
That’s like saying that people who die by abortion rather than a bullet, are somehow less worthy of outrage.
My great-great grandfather, Dr. Adam Daniel Williams, a pastor and original NAACP founder, would be appalled to know that mothers and children are being denied liberty and life at the hands of the abortion/contraception industry.
We must stop abortion now.
What bothers me most is that people are fighting violence everywhere else while ignoring a major scourge that truly affects all of us.
Too often black women and their unborn children are targeted by the abortion industry while too many of us look the other way, acknowledging only the need to protect those targeted by guns.
It's time to demand that our president — and other leaders — recognize the tremendous loss of life being orchestrated daily by Planned Parenthood.
More than 55 million babies have been legally aborted since 1973 — which is a nice way of saying slaughtered or killed. Black babies make up nearly one third of these deaths.
It’s nothing short of reproductive genocide.
Consider that the African-American population in America represents around 13 percent of the total population.
Add to these startling figures the deaths and serious injuries of women who are victims of the supposedly "safe, legal and rare" abortions and harmful, invasive contraceptives that the Alliance for the Abortion of Colored People is ramming down our throats — filling their coffers at the expense of the bloodshed by our babies and women.
Enough is enough already! Too many babies are dead. Too many women are hurt, suffering or dead by acts of abortion. If people really want to keep America safe we must rediscover the lost values that my uncle, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., spoke of during his lifetime.
We will help all people discover purpose in life. We will help people find Jesus and jobs, and finish their education. We will recall abortion. We will own up to the duplicities that are covered up with deceptive ad campaigns that promise to help us while killing babies and their mothers.
Pray that the voices against this injustice grow stronger and that America wakes up before it is too late.
Stop the violence. Defund Planned Parenthood.
