May the Lord, the God of Israel, under whose wings you have come to take refuge, reward you fully for what you have done. (Ruth 2:12, NLT)
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. (Romans 15:13)
Easter season should always be a time of healing and renewal.
In 2022, we're still reeling while recovering from the coronavirus pandemic.
Bizarre weather patterns continue.
Tempers flare, violence erupts.
Many are saddened by wars and rumours of war.
With respect to Ukraine, our ministry is answering the present war crisis by praying and donating charitable aid. We are praying for God’s love and grace to heal all wounded souls globslly this Easter season.
As a reminder, when in crisis, we should always work to overcome evil with good. When at all possible, we must respond to fear and famine with prayers, faith, hope, love, and actions wholly correspondent actions.
This writer has personally decided not to allow hate and fear to facilitate participation in racial debates and political strife over: CRT, transgender surgeries for minors, and rampant abortion — and other nationally divisive issues.
Instead, I am looking to fill every half-full glass with life, creativity, and opportunity.
I’m looking for and expecting silver-linings in the most menacing of clouds.
Most importantly, I’m repenting and forgiving while seeking forgiveness embracing human dignity for the purpose of embodying human flourishing; from birth to death.
After all, we are not colorblind. Rather, we see and are "one blood, one human race".
This Easter season, let the joy of the Lord overtake you.
Let us correct the wrongs and sins; let God make every crooked path straight; every rocky place smooth. ("Every valley shall be filled And every mountain and hill brought low; The crooked places shall be made straight And the rough ways smooth," Luke 3:5)
The fruit of the Spirit includes joy.
Smile, even if your heart is aching.
Show God’s love.
If there is sadness, ask God to help you.
Show everyone you see today that the spirit of God lives and resides within you.
You can achieve this by presenting your joyful countenance to everyone you meet.
Today is Good Friday, a time for Christians to reflect on the sacrifice and gifts of Christ.
Remember Christ on the cross, and what Jesus sacrificed for you.
Be ever humble and thankful, remembering Psalm 29:11 — "The Lord will bless his people with peace. "
Pray: Lord, help us to follow and accept "Your Will Be Done."
Grant us the assurance of your covenant and the gift of peace. Amen.
May God bless us all. May God bless the United States of America. Pray for peace.
