Democrats in Congress, a disgraceful and biased major media, and left-wing backed protesters have undertaken a campaign to figuratively lynch Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s reputation, character, career, and destroy his family!

And who joins them in pulling the lynch mob rope?

Just a few weeks ago in this space I called Omarosa Manigault a “Black Benedict Arnold” for turning on President Trump in her so-called reveal-all book.

Senator Jeff Flake, R-Ariz., has made her look good.

At least she may be profiting from her book stabbing the president in the back. As far as we know, Flake — whom some consider to be a modern-day Judas Iscariot — didn’t even get his “thirty pieces of silver” for selling out his GOP Judiciary Committee and Senate colleagues.

One thing is clear in the aftermath of the Kavanaugh hearings: Flake could never be trusted to be a member of a Navy Seal or Special Forces team.

His spine turns to Jell-O at the first sound of enemy resistance.

A woman yelled at him in an elevator and he wilted like a wet strand of spaghetti. Thanks to him, Democrats got their delay and the opportunity for their left-wing radical shock troops and media friends to find more Sen. Dianne Feinstein-type dirty tricks to hurl at Kavanaugh.

Republicans got nothing and Democrats’ assault on Kavanaugh is relentless and never ending.

This wouldn’t be the case if Flake didn’t have two Republican cohorts who might just join his “stab them in the back” Team — Sens. Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska., and Susan Collins, R-Maine.

We will see.

So, what does all of this tell us?

It says that while Democrats can be counted upon to hang together no matter what, that Republicans can not not be trusted to stick together on almost anything when the pressure is on — a few will run for the hills with their GOP elephant trunks between their legs.

My Insider colleague Patrick Buchanan made the point perfectly in his October 1 Newsmax column where he quoted Jerry Falwell Jr. calling Republican leaders “a bunch of wimps.”

He wrote that Falwell’s point was that: “Democrats fight savagely and for keeps, while Republicans — street-fighter Trump excepted — are wimps, often bewailing any loss of camaraderie with their colleagues across the aisle.”

Democrats know full well that if they push weak RINO’s — Republicans in name only — that they will fold like a cheap suit.

It’s time that Republicans elect Senators who stand for the principles of their party like Democrats do and do not have one foot in the Democrat camp.

Let’s hope and pray that in November the GOP will turn out Democratic incumbents and elect more Trump Republicans so that the votes of sometimes RINO’s like Collins, Murkowski, and Flake, can be neutralized.

If RINOS and GOP wimps allow Kavanaugh to go down, so does any respect for the Republican Party and its chances of getting a nominee on the Court.

An even bigger disgrace, is how many blacks in the media and political circles have jumped on the lynch-Kavanaugh bandwagon. It turns one’s stomach to watch black pundits, journalists, and politicians condemn Judge Kavanaugh without giving him the presumption of innocence.

As I wrote in this space last week, they have forgotten their own history and how their own black male ancestors were presumed guilty and killed based only on allegations of sexual assault.

All for political correctness and Democrat obstructionism.

My friend Earl Phillips, who headed the Trump campaign in North Carolina, who is black, had it right when he said they should all read "To Kill a Mockingbird."
