The planet is heating up as a result of global warming and mankind is facing disaster unless we take on Mother Nature and frustrate her plans to barbecue us all.
How do we know that? Well Al Gore tells us so, and we must pay heed to his warnings because he is a towering figure in climatology, recognized as such by the Nobel Peace Prize committee which awarded him their coveted Nobel Peace Prize, and Hollywood which gave him an Oscar for his doomsday film, "An Inconvenient Truth."
Oh that Al Gore! The allegedly credible Al Gore.
Not the real Al Gore who informed us that he invented the Internet.
Not the Al Gore whose Oscar winning film was riddled with errors and used film of melting glaciers lifted from a movie where the chunks of glacial ice falling into the sea were really plastic foam made to look like ice.
Not the Al Gore who subjected this nation to 37 days of uncertainty and strife in an attempt to wrest the presidency from the real winner by seeking to create votes out of spoiled ballots that could not meet the legal standards needed to qualify them as valid.
Not the Al Gore who scribbled an obscenity across a CIA document warning him that he was being conned by a bunch of crooks in Russia when he was Clinton's point man in dealing with the former Soviet Union.
Not the Al Gore who insists that the science is settled, that the great majority of scientists believe in global warming and only a tiny handful of scientists who he says probably also believe that the earth is flat, dispute the reality of global warming — this in the face of the 31,000 plus scientists who have signed statements that declared his theory humbug.
That Al Gore.
What are the facts?
Nobody denies that the relatively short-term increase in global temperatures stopped cold in 1998, and that the global climate has been cooling ever since. That's right: cooling!
That warming we are told, was caused by Carbon Dioxide (CO2) with which we evil humans keep polluting the atmosphere. We even keep exhaling it with every breath we take and plant life absorbs it to stay alive and healthy. The more CO2 the hotter it gets, we're told.
Oh!
Well how do the globalwarmiacs explain the fact that while the earth stopped warming in 1998, and began to cool, atmospheric levels of carbon dioxide have continued to increase at a rate of 1.9 parts per million since 2000 according to NOAA (http://www.ncdc.noaa.gov).
Shouldn't the earth continue to warm at the very least at that same rate?
Face it, global warming is a gigantic hoax being used to justify the imposition of some of the most Draconian measures imaginable to combat a menace that does not exist. Developed nations around the world are enacting or hoping to enact legislation that will destroy their economies and doom Third World nations to starvation.
Here in America, one such piece of legislation, the Lieberman/Warner climate security act "A bill to direct the Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency to establish a program to decrease emissions of greenhouse gases, and for other purposes" would result, according to a study by the Heritage Foundation, in:
Cumulative gross domestic product (GDP) losses of at least $1.7 trillion and could reach $4.8 trillion by 2030 (in inflation-adjusted 2006 dollars).Single-year GDP losses hit at least $155 billion and realistically could exceed $500 billion (in inflation-adjusted 2006 dollars).Annual job losses exceeding 500,000 before 2030 and approaching 1,000,000.The annual cost of emission permits to energy users to be at least $100 billion by 2020 and could exceed $300 billion by 2030 (in inflation-adjusted 2006 dollars). The average household paying $467 more each year for its natural gas and electricity (in inflation-adjusted 2006 dollars). That means that the average household will spend an additional $8,870 to purchase household energy over the period 2012 through 2030.All in the name of fighting a non-existent threat.
Try and wrap the wheel of your intelligence around the hub of the truth: There ain't no global warming!
Got it?
And if you think this year was cold, just wait until next year.
