Like millions and millions of other Americans, I’ve become very interested in the stock market. With the advent of IRAs and 401 retirement plans, the possibility of self managed Social Security accounts, the amazing stories of dot-com billionaires, the staggering wealth of hedge fund managers, the plethora of financial newsletters promising practically overnight bonanzas from investing in penny stocks and “under the radar” companies — millions of us are drawn like moths to the flame by the allure of dramatic profits.
Today, it’s not just Forbes and Barron’s and Bloomberg, but Time and Newsweek, and even People and other entertainment magazines, that focus on entrepreneurs and businesses that swim against the economic tide to tremendous growth and profitability.
Well, I’ve just learned more about a business that rivals Berkshire Hathaway and its resident genius Warren Buffett (who approves of this newer “industry”) — in both steady growth and enormous profits.
Killing babies.
Yes, I’m talking about that gigantic growth corporation, Planned Parenthood. There has likely never been a more misleading name for any major business, of course, because this smooth-running industry does anything but “plan parenthood.” It quite openly and proudly makes sure, for a great majority of its pregnant clients, that they won’t birth their babies at all, and there will be no “parenthood” to plan.
According to Care Net, a leading pro-life counseling and nurturing provider across America, Planned Parenthood’s “services” result in abortions outnumbering adoption referrals and kept children by 180-to-1!!
Surprised? You shouldn’t be — this is a business, a money machine. There is no profit in convincing young girls to keep the children they’ve created or give them up for adoption by eager parents that will love and nurture them. Though occasionally that is the outcome, and the staff and administrators of the slaughterhouses love to publicize those few incidents, the recently revealed numbers tell the true story: Their annual income now exceeds a billion dollars, including $336 million in taxpayer funding!
By contrast — alarming contrast — Care Net operates 1,100 centers throughout the country, receiving on their “Option Line” roughly 20,000 calls each month. And 9 out of 10 women and girls who visit one of their pregnancy centers choose life for their children.
And not surprisingly, because there is no profit to anybody but the babies who are allowed to live, Care Net urgently solicits voluntary funding, so they can go on changing hearts and saving lives. Obviously, our government doesn’t find this effort worthy of massive taxpayer funding, though snuffing out the lives of unborn Americans is.
To me, this is obscene. It’s nightmarish. It’s a terrifying example of how our society is descending into a Dante’s Inferno of depraved behavior, all the while believing itself to be humane and caring and concerned for women, although over half of the babies sacrificed on the altar of convenience are female.
Since the catastrophic 1973 Roe v. Wade decision, over 40 million babies have paid the ultimate price for their mothers' "choices"; and that means at least 20 million women never became women. So much for concern for women.
It’s no surprise, then, that Planned Parenthood’s absolute disregard for the life of the baby in the womb continues to foster more callous, inhuman, and illegal behavior.
Care Net reports that Planned Parenthood’s locations in Ohio, Idaho, Oklahoma, and New Mexico specifically promised to designate donations for the aborting of black children at the request of a donor.
And how about this for “planning parenthood”? Teenwire, their Web site for teenagers, urged juveniles to watch pornography — even though that’s illegal. Their explanation? “Not everyone follows the rules.”
And a Planned Parenthood clinic worker was caught on camera urging a woman she believed was a minor to lie about her age. Why? That way, statutory rape, a criminal offense, could be hidden from the authorities. And abortion could erase the evidence of the other crime. Sadly, many abusers rely on abortion to cover up sexual abuse. So young girls, and their babies, suffer while “Planned Parenthood” rakes in huge bucks.
If you have any doubt about what I’m saying, think for just a second: if, as they claim, the executives of Planned Parenthood really had an ounce of concern for the unborn, wouldn’t they welcome help from any quarter? Wouldn’t they be thrilled that organizations like Care Net, and Right to Life, and other pro-life groups were taking a lot of the load of counseling pregnant girls and women, encouraging them to let their children live, and providing teaching and support for those who want to actually raise the babies they’ve created?
Well, friend, that’s not the case. The kind folks at Planned Parenthood want all the pro-lifers to go away. If they could legislate them out of existence, they would. They do call the law, and the ACLU sues protesters anywhere near the abortion clinics, because it’s bad for business!
When you’re raking in over a cool billion a year, and even soaking taxpayers (who hate what you’re doing) for $336 million, you don’t want anybody reminding you that your blood money profits come from decimating innocent little babies — 289,750 innocent little babies in the latest year — 25,000 more than the year before.
And here’s another thought to consider: Among the 40,000,000 American babies killed since 1973, how many distinguished scientists, geniuses, great artists, literary giants, or even future presidents were erased from America’s history? How many solutions, cures, and contributions to all humanity were heartlessly obliterated?
Listen, there’s only one way, for now, to combat this diabolical growing cancer which is literally devouring little babies by the millions. The Bible admonishes “Be not overcome with evil; overcome evil with good.”
Care Net is doing that.
Their advertising is so effective, on billboards, TV, radio, MTV, aimed at young women struggling with unplanned pregnancies, that their Option Line receives roughly 20,000 calls each month, costing about $3.00 for each woman they reach. And somewhat more than that for each baby they rescue from brutal death.
I urge every reader to go to www.care-net.org, to see what you can do to confront the giant abortion conglomerate and drive them toward a financial bankruptcy to match their moral one. Right now, Care Net needs $150,000 by June 30. Since our tax dollars have already contributed to Planned Parenthood, shouldn’t we try to even the field just a little?
