CNN's Use of Brennan to Further Its Agenda Scandalous

As requested last evening, I went to CNN‘s New York headquarters to discuss the recent explosive devices mailed to a number — of what appears to be — DemocraticParty  targets.

The purpose of these interviews and discussons are for the cable television press and the media in general to get as much information as possible out to the public at large.

This is so citizens can become another set of eyes and ears for law enforcement.

This is concurrently critcal in the event that they themselves become aware of something related to the investigation, or equally important, become aware of possible suspects.

Following my on-air introduction, CNN broke into our interview advising that former CIA Director John Brennan was going to discuss the device sent to CNN as well as the one addressed to him.

I thought it would be worthwhile for him to add his agency expertise as to where this device could have possibly come from (or provide a possible target profile of the suspects) giving the public something to be looking out for.

Instead, I listened to Mr. Brennan’s 10 minute vitriolic rant against the president of the United States, and how the president's criticism of the press and media is responsible for violence.

As it turns out, Mr. Brennan was not asked about the device, or about who could have possibly sent it, or about a possible profile, or even about how to possibly investigate or identify suspects. Everything the former CIA director was asked granted him the opportunity to criticize the president, while basically inferring that it was Donald Trump who was responsible for the target(s) in this investigation.

As I listened to him, I found it appalling that instead of attempting to unify the country as we did in the aftermath of 9/11, he was doing everything in his power to create more divisiveness.

I found appalling, the denouncing of the president’s criticism of the press and mainstream media. Yet Brennan did not do the same with respect to former U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder‘s recent calls for Democrats to engage in violence against Republicans.

Brenan conveniently did not mention the calls by Rep. Maxine Waters, D-Calif., for violence against Republicans. He also quite conveniently did not mention the attempted assassination and shooting of Rep. Steve Scalise, R-La., on a Virginia ball field on June 14, 2017.

All Brennan wanted to talk about was President Donald Trump. The CNN reporter conducting the interview did everything in his power to encourage his personal attacks.

I refused to be a part of CNN's and Brennan’s anti-Trump political tirade.

Removing my removed my ear-piece and microphone, I walked-off of the set.

Jeff Zucker, the CEO of CNN has made it clear he is an enemy of the president because of his criticism of CNN.

President Trump has every right to be frustrated and angered by CNN, as well the main stream media‘s lack of integrity; their constant "fake news" reportage, and their divisiveness.

All of which occurs at a time when they should focused solely on two things — finding the maniac that sent these possible explosive devices, and unifying our country as one nation.

Their failure to do so legitimizes every criticism the president has of them.

Their programming and coverage in this important and dangerous investigation is scandalous. It's time for Time Warner to do everything in its power to change all of that.
