There are many detailed descriptions of alleged tax fraud and money laundering by Paul Manafort and Richard Gates. These — if true — are extremely serious fraud. But they would normally be investigated by the FBI and the IRS. Since there is no collusion with the Russians, why is the Mueller entity deeply involved with Manafort at all?
