Singer Joy Villa, who wore a Make-America-Great-Again-themed dress to the Grammy awards in February, told Fox News' Ainsley Earhardt on Friday that she's considering a run for Congress.

"I'm looking at Florida, I'm looking at California and I'm looking at New York, because these are all places I live and work and have grown up in," Villa said on "Fox & Friends."

"If I run, I'm going to win," she added. "There's such a need for good congressmen, for good people in office who are putting forth the aims of the people, not just their own agenda."

President Donald Trump wished Villa luck, saying "she has many fans," early Friday morning.

Villa thanked Trump for his message and called him her inspiration.

Former Trump staffer Sebastian Gorka retweeted an image of Villa with a quote from her interview.
