A surprise engagement party for MSNBC's "Morning Joe" co-hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski included a President Donald Trump imitator who loudly heckled a toast to the couple, the New York Post reported.

The outlet's Page Six column reported the party for the couple, who are frequent on-air critics of the president, was held at "Morning Joe" contributor Steve Rattner's apartment on Fifth Avenue in New York City.

"I need to correct you," the fake Trump bellowed during Rattner's toast, Page Six reported. "The fake news is at it again. They love to lie. The show is awful and unwatchable. People are saying it was canceled weeks ago."

He also hollered: "I never colluded with Russia, and I never gave intelligence to Russians because I never had intelligence. and I never will," according to Page Six.

Among the partygoers were Sen. Charles Schumer, D-N.Y., New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio, activist Al Sharpton and former Ronald Reagan speechwriter Peggy Noonan, Page Six reported.
