After initially declining to offer his opinion on the Hobby Lobby Supreme Court ruling, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie has said he supports the decision.
"Do I support the Supreme Court decision in the Hobby Lobby case? I do," the potential 2016 presidential contender said, according to a video released by Democratic super PAC American Bridge,
The Hill reported.
The group recorded his comments at a meet-and-greet Thursday in Mario, Iowa where he was campaigning for incumbent GOP Gov. Terry Branstad.

Last month, the Supreme Court ruled that closely held companies that had religious objections to the Obamacare contraceptive mandate were exempt from complying.
Christie's willingness to discuss the matter is a shift from his initial reaction the day after the ruling when asked by CNBC whether he supported it.
"Who knows?" he said, according to The Hill. "The point is: Why should I give an opinion as to whether they were right or wrong? At the end of the day, they did what they did.
"That's now the law of the land, unless people in the legislative branch try to change it."
