Zaire Wade, the son of three-time NBA champion and Miami Heat star Dwayne Wade may some day replace his dad as best hoopster in his family. Zaire Wade, is emerging as one of the nation’s top fifth-grade boys’ basketball players.
Yahoo! Sports reports that the younger Wade completely tore apart the competition at the recent John Lucas Future of the Game camp and emerged as one of the most impressive young point guards on offer. A video posted on the site shows a kid with definite skills.
Word of the young prodigy is quickly spreading around social networking sites.

BroBible.com: “Solid shooter, great vision. Apparently he's one of the tops in the country for the class of ... 2020. Personally I don't think the class of 2020 is as strong as the class of 2023, but Zaire Wade is definitely dangerous.”
SportsGrid.com noted that, “Despite having a tumultuous family life torn between feuding parents, Zaire (and his brother Zion) have ended up in their father’s custody, and clearly played a lot of ball with him. Like this time. The point is, they’ve basically been Jedi trained by a loving, single dad, who happens to be a three-time NBA champ and finals MVP.”
Dwayne Wade, nicknamed Flash by former teammate Shaquille O’Neal, won his first NBA title with Shaq at center in 2006, the same year Wade was named Sports Illustrated’s Sportsman of the Year.
A perennial all-star, Wade’s skills have diminished as the long NBA seasons and playoff runs have taken their toll on his knees. Teamed up with LeBron James and Chris Bosh to form Miami’s so-called Big Three, the Heat have captured the past two NBA titles.
If you pay close attention to videos posted on the Internet, however, you might notice that Zaire isn't wearing his father's signature shoes, instead opting for a pair of the latest LeBrons.
But maybe that's not so surprising: During a recent appearance on the Dan Patrick show, the Dwyane Wade said his son Zaire Wade's favorite player is LeBron James.
