After laying low for three years following a
highly publicized cheating scandal involving dozens of women, it looks like Tiger Woods is finally back, first redeeming his golf career and now appearing on the red carpet with his girlfriend Lindsey Vonn.
Woods' comeback began in March, when he won the 77th PGA Tour event, keeping him at #1 in the world of golf. Monday night, the athlete attended the annual Costume Institute Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art with his Olympian skier girlfriend, Vonn.

Woods, 37, wore a classic black and white suit and tie, while Vonn, 28, donned a cream gown with a train sheer paneling, her hair neatly slicked back in a low ponytail. The couple looked clean and sophisticated compared to hundreds of other A-list attendees who followed the event’s theme, “Punk: From Chaos to Couture,” with dramatic dark makeup and elaborate formal wear.
Earlier this year, rumors swirled that
Vonn and Woods were an item. In March, the two confirmed the news on social media, posting several professionally-shot photographs together.
"This season has been great so far and I'm happy with my wins at Torrey and Doral. Something nice that's happened off the course was meeting Lindsey Vonn. Lindsey and I have been friends for some time, but over the last few months we have become very close and are now dating,” Woods wrote along with the pic.
Vonn published a similar message confirming the news as well.

The two athletes reportedly met in April 2012 and struck up a romantic relationship that fall, according to Yahoo.
Last month,
Vonn proved her support for the golfer by flying to Augusta, Georgia, to watch him compete in the Masters. She even wore his famous tournament outfit, a red polo and black shorts, which Woods wears during the final rounds of every tournament he plays.
Today, Woods is off to the Players Championship.
