Taylor Swift Fans' Wedding Gets Even Better With a Backstage Visit

By    |   Monday, 15 June 2015 10:17 AM EDT

Taylor Swift made one fan's wedding very special over the weekend when she greeted the happy couple backstage after her concert at Philadelphia's Lincoln Financial Field.

Katy Harris and Chris Eisenmann got hitched Friday in the parking lot outside of Swift’s “1989” World Tour concert, and then went inside to celebrate still in their wedding gown and tux, TMZ reported.

Harris explained on Instagram how she and her new hubby ended up at the show. The superfans initially planned on getting married on Swift's birthday, December 13th, but after putting the wedding off, she joked about wearing her gown to the pop star's concert. The joke then turned into a reality when the couple stopped and got a marriage license on the way to the concert.

Some of you may have saw on facebook that Chris and I plan to get married in 3 days at the #1989tourphilly Taylor Swift Concert #06122015 --- We originally planned a a whole wedding for 12-13-14 ( Taylor's 25th birthday! ) We had reasons why we had to put it off. Meanwhile, I've had a gown hanging in my closet!! And as I was making our homemade outfits for Taylor (as I have done every two years when she comes to town) a joke about wearing my gown to the concert turned into us driving to Philly to get a marriage license and planning a ceremony outside of Lincoln Financial Field right before walking into the concert in our tux and gown! We kept it a secret for the most part until today! If you know anything about me its probably how I have been obsessed with Taylor since I first heard her in 2006. Chris has been very supportive and could even put most girls to shame going word for word on any of her albums (including deluxe editions) So naturally how could I ever give him up?! He is an incredible person and an amazing fiance! He also is the best father to our beautiful son and I cant wait to share their last name! I cant think of a better or more fitting way for us to celebrate this time in our lives --- I am on cloud 9! #bestfianceever #bestnightever @taylorswift #hitchedattswift We have our friends from philly.com who liked our story and asked if they could document it! Of course we said yes! Please tag Taylor for us in the comments so maybe she will catch wind of it! ♡ #wearenuts #hatersgonnahate #1989 #swifties #tagtaylor

Swift reportedly noticed Harris' Instagram feed between sets and her mother, Andrea Finley, spotted the newlyweds in the audience and brought them backstage to meet their idol, according to TMZ. The fans met with Swift for an hour, during which she gifted them with signed merchandise.

"Last night was a dream sequence" Harris captioned an Instagram photo of her with her two of her favorite people. “Meet my new husband Chris and our new friend Taylor!!!!!! I have no words to express last night!! My two dreams came true!!!”

Swift may have been in a wedding mood after Britany Maack, the star’s childhood friend, asked her in February to be her maid of honor, MTV News reported.

Swift also managed to surprise the rest of her audience Friday when she brought out "Law & Order" star Mariska Hargitay and model Cara Delevingne on stage to sing and dance to “Style,” according to MSN News. Both celebrities previously appeared in Taylor’s “Bad Blood” music video.
