A Seattle Seahawks fan desperate for tickets to the divisional playoff game earlier this month shaved the side of her head and got a giant tattoo of the team's logo, yet still lost a local radio station's giveaway contest.
McKenzie Brown, 28, of Kennewick, Wash., has been a diehard Seahawks fan ever since she was little but had never actually been to a game. So when radio station 98.3 The Key announced it would give away two tickets to the person with the best Seahawks-related photo, Brown jumped at the chance and decided to go big.

The hairstylist, who already had nine tattoos and is married to a tattoo artist, thought it would be cool to shave the left side of her head and get a Seahawks 12th man piece done. The term "12th man" is a reference to a team's fan base.
"I always wanted to have a Seahawks tattoo, but I didn't want a logo to interrupt the other tattoos,"
Brown told Washington state's Tri-City Herald. "That's why I felt the head would be perfect."
But it wasn’t enough to win her the tickets, which went to a man who submitted a photo of himself dressed in a Seahawks-themed Batman costume.
"I came in second, but nothing else changed," Brown said. "I may have a little bit of an itchy head, but I'm still loud and proud."
Brown said last week that she would be willing to shave the other side of her head and get an Ellen DeGeneres tattoo if the talk show host would give her tickets to Sunday's Super Bowl.
The Seahawks take on the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl XLVIII Sunday at New Jersey's MetLife Stadium.
