The dispute over Robin Williams' family estate has ended with a pending settlement between the comedian and award-winning actor's children and his widow, according to the Los Angeles Times.

The bitter dispute between Susan Schneider Williams, Robin Williams' third wife, and children from two other marriages – Cody 23; Zelda, 25; and Zachary, 31 – centered around personal items the couple gathered during their marriage and their San Francisco Bay area home, which the children inherited in the will, noted the Times.

The full terms of the settlement, which still has to be approved by a judge, noted the Times, were not disclosed, but Schneider Williams' attorney Jim Wagstaffe told Entertainment Weekly that his client was pleased with the terms.

One of the major points of contention in settling the estate was if Schneider Williams would stay in the residence the two shared in Marin County and continue its upkeep from an estate trust reserve account, noted Entertainment Weekly.

"Susan is ecstatic with the result and very happy that the trust Robin wanted for her is being implemented and Robin's wishes are being honored," Wagstaffe said to Entertainment Weekly. "She's been grieving for a long time, and hopefully this is a step to heal the grieving."

Meredith Bushnell, the attorney for Williams's children, told People magazine that they were "relieved to have this behind them."

People reported that the children were initially angered by Schneider Williams claims that she was not being given enough money from the Oscar-winning actor's estate to keep up the home they lived in, an issue that appears to be settled now.

"While it's hard to speak of this as a win, given it stems from the greatest loss of all, I am deeply grateful to the judge for helping resolve these issues," Schneider Williams told People in a statement. "I can live in peace knowing that my husband's wishes were honored."

Williams's children will the receive most of the items they asked for, including more than 50 bikes, more than 85 watches and the awards he won over his legendary career, including his Academy Award, wrote People.

"With an overall estate estimated at more than $100 million, Mrs. Williams will be receiving only a fraction of the overall estate, representing those funds sufficient to allow her to remain in the home for her lifetime," Schneider Williams lawyers told People.
