President Barack Obama was busy photo oping on his trip to Denver on Tuesday, shaking hands with a man in a horse mask, being offered legal marijuana at a bar, and getting beers with Gov. John Hickenlooper.
According to The Associated Press, the trip began with a dinner at the Wazee Supper Club. The president dined with locals who had written him letters in a "carefully orchestrated event aimed at projecting an image of the president connecting with real Americans."
In recent weeks, Obama said he was growing frustrated after six long years of living in the Secret Service security bubble, and has begun setting out on impromptu walkabouts like a self-described "bear on the loose."

That effort led to 10-minute walk down 15th Street on Tuesday, where he gravitated to a small crowd of admirers – one of which was wearing a horse mask. Obama was taken aback by the man, who extended his hand firmly at the president. After a hesitant pause, Obama obliged, and the photo of the handshake immediately went viral on social media. Many news outlets declared it the "photo of the day."
After the jaunt, Obama hopped back in his armored limousine, and headed to Wynkoop Brewing Co., which was founded by John Hickenlooper, who would go on to become mayor and, eventually, governor.
Working his way through the crowd to meet the governor for a beer, one local offered Obama a genuine Rocky Mountain "high."
"You want a hit, man?" asked Instagram user "manton89," who captured his query on video.
In the video, the president can be seen laughing off the man's generosity.
The president then met with the governor for two Rail Yard Ales. They played a game of pool, and Obama notched a victory. Hickenlooper acknowledged the victory, and Tweeted out a picture of the game.
Gov. Hickenlooper, along with Sen. Mark Udall and congressional candidate Andrew Romanoff, faces an up-hill election battle this fall.
CNN noted that despite the governor's grabbing beers with the president, all three of the Democrats will not attend the president's Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee fundraiser Wednesday afternoon.
The three Democrats said they couldn't attend because of scheduling conflicts, but many political pundits say they're avoiding being seen with Obama, whose poll numbers have tanked in recent months.
