The Manchester concert attack case is now focused on a blue suitcase that suspected suicide bomber Salman Abedi was seen with days before the May 22 explosion killed 22 and wounded 116 others. Police have asked the public's help in tracking it down.

Abedi was captured on CCTV wheeling the suitcase while visiting the Wilmslow Road area of Manchester, reported The Guardian.

The public call for information on the suitcase came as authorities tried to reconstruct Abedi's movement from May 18 when he returned from Libya to the bombing.

The Greater Manchester Police released a photo of the suitcase with Abedi Monday with a call for more information.

"Did you see Abedi with this suitcase between the 18 and 22 May 2017? Where did you see him with it during that time? You may have seen him in the Wilmslow Road area or Manchester city center with the suitcase or know where the suitcase has been. If you have any details about the suitcase we need you to get in touch and let us know," said a Manchester Police statement from Detective Chief Superintendent Russ Jackson, from its North West Counter Terrorism Unit.

" … We have no reason to believe the case and its contents contain anything dangerous, but would ask people to be cautious. … The public should not approach the case if they see it but contact police immediately …," said Jackson.

The Daily Mail said police raided additional homes Monday in its search for the network behind the suicide bombing at the Manchester Arena.
