Lindsay Lohan 'GTA V': Actress To Sue Over Look-Alike Image?

By    |   Monday, 02 December 2013 12:33 PM EST

Lindsay Lohan is reportedly considering a lawsuit against the makers of "Grand Theft Auto V," claiming the video game used the starlet's image without her consent, according to TMZ.

The celebrity gossip site reported that Lohan, 27, has called on her lawyers to craft a suit against "GTA" publisher Rockstar Games, asking for some serious damages.

Lohan reportedly feels the image on the cover of the world's fastest selling video game looks like her, although the game makers have previously said the bikini-clad woman was meant to resemble model Shelby Welinder.

The game also contains a handful of "paparazzi missions" where the user is tasked with giving a washed-up celebrity a ride home. Another scene in the game shows a Lohan-esque character at a hotel resembling the Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood — where Lohan once lived.

But industry experts say Lohan will have a hard time proving her case in court.

"The paparazzi missions obviously do satirize people like Lohan, and the game's writers may have even had Lohan in mind when they wrote those scenes," Forbes' Erik Kain wrote, "[but] it's more likely that they are amalgams of various generic celebrities, though, rather than Lohan specifically. Certainly I think it would be very difficult to prove."
