Forbes' 30 Under 30 in Law and Policy list for 2018 features three prominent conservatives, including two women.

Jeet Guram

Jeet Guram is the top policy adviser to the top federal health care agency, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. Guram attended Harvard Medical School and was appointed to the Trump administration in May.

Guram also worked at the Heritage Foundation on policy reform for Medicare and Medicaid and with McKinsey and Company, a management consulting company, according to his LinkedIn profile. Guram helps set policies related to healthcare for low-income adults, children through the CHIP program, and the elderly. The three programs now provide health care for one in four Americans.

Mary Elizabeth Taylor

Mary Elizabeth Taylor has shepherded all Trump administration nominees through the Senate confirmation process, including Supreme Court nominee Neil Gorusch.

Taylor, a conservative African-American woman, previously worked as an aide to current Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, where she helped him deepen relationships with other Republican senators, according to Heavy.

Until 2014, Taylor also had a leadership role in the Senate cloakroom where behind-the-scenes deals are often made concerning legislation, Heavy reported. Her position is in the White House legislative affairs unit.

Lauren Aronson

Lauren Aronson is press secretary with the House Ways and Means committee and will help shape perception of the tax reform debate currently taking over Congress as it debates tax cut legislation President Donald Trump wants to pass by the end of 2017. She is relatively new to Capitol Hill and previously worked in public affairs and at the American Enterprise Institute in media relations, according to the Leadership Institute.

Forbes released its annual "30 Under 30" list for 2018 on Tuesday. It features 30 people in each of 20 categories such as education, media, entrepreneurs, music, sports, and many others.
