Celebrity VIPs with personal stakes in Hurricane Irma’s aftermath are trying to rebuild after feeling the effects of the storm that destroyed prime property as it barrelled through the Caribbean and Florida.

Beyonce, who delivered a message during Tuesday’s celebrity telethon held to raise funds for victims of Irma, pointed out that "it doesn't matter if you're from Third Ward or River Oaks, we're all in this together."

Her words ring true as a number of elites found themselves at the mercy of the powerful hurricane.

Here are five celebrities affected by the storm.

1) President Donald Trump — The U.S. President experienced a double hit when Irma first pummelled his Le Chateau des Palmiers vacation home on the island of St. Martin, before targeting his private Palm Beach club, Mar-a-Lago.

People magazine noted that, although officials were still evaluating the destruction to both properties, the island where Trump’s $17 million home is located suffered widespread destruction. Meanwhile, his Mar-a-Lago residence reportedly sustained minor damages.

2) Richard Branson — The British billionaire confirmed that his Necker Island home in the Caribbean was completely destroyed in Irma’s wake.

Branson took refuge from the storm in his "Necker’s Great House" cellar but later emerged to find widespread destruction.

He took to social media to share images of the damage sustained to his property, as well as the rest of the island.

3) Robert de Niro — A luxury resort on Barbuda, which is co-owned by Robert de Niro, was ravaged by Irma.

Deadline noted that the Hollywood actor had bought the K Club Resort last year with James Packer, which they renamed Paradise Found Nobu Resort.

4) Jimmy Johnson — Irma’s trail of destruction included former NFL coach Jimmy Johnson’s Florida Keys property, which suffered extensive damage after the hurricane passed through the area.

"Looks like the place has been napalmed," he told Sports Illustrated.

"I spent 30 years building up that property to exactly the way we wanted it, and to see it now, it hurts."

5) Kenny Chesney — The country singer’s home in the U.S. Virgin Island of St. John took a direct hit from Irma.

"It's just simply gone," he told Today of the damage to his property.
