A majority of likely voters nationwide say Hillary Clinton should not continue her run for president if indicted by the FBI over her use of a private email server,
Zogby Analytics reports.
The poll asked 837 likely voters in an online survey, "If Hillary Clinton were to be indicted by the FBI because of her use of a personal email server, do you agree or disagree she should still run for President?"
A total of 57 percent of all voters either strongly or somewhat disagreed that Clinton should still run for president.
About one third of Democrats said Clinton should not run for president, while 52 percent said she should not. Eighty-two percent of Republicans said Clinton should not run if indicted.
"More striking is the fact that key Democratic groups such as Millennials, who are not too familiar with the former Secretary of State and First Lady, overwhelmingly disagreed (51% strongly and 8% somewhat) she should still run for president if indicted," Zogby noted.
A 62 percent majority of women believed Clinton should not run if indicted.
