Real estate mogul and frontrunner Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is receiving a lot of blowback after criticizing Carly Fiorina's face in a Rolling Stone article, but according to Politico, Donald Trump says he didn't mean any harm by the comments and was just being the "entertainer" that he is.

“Many of those comments are made as an entertainer because I did 'The Apprentice' and it was one of the top shows on television,” Trump told Greta Van Susteren on Thursday night. “Some comments are made as an entertainer and as everybody said, as an entertainer is a much different ball game.”

The Rolling Stone article illustrated a scene of Trump watching Fiorina on TV:

"Look at that face!' he cries. 'Would anyone vote for that? Can you imagine that, the face of our next president?!' The laughter grows halting and faint behind him. 'I mean, she's a woman, and I'm not s'posed ta say bad things, but really, folks, come on. Are we serious?'”

Since being on the campaign trail, Trump has made multiple controversial comments about women, but Trump is sticking to his original statement that the remarks on Fiorina are not about her physically, but about her persona.

Trump added, "I’d like to say that nobody understands and nobody wants to do more for women," a popular line that "The Donald" has been heard citing before. "My wife was talking to me and she said you cherish women you really have to talk about it a little bit more.”

If fact, Trump touted that he is leading with women, and many other groups.

Apart from his feud with Fiorina, Trump also addressed his feuds with Ben Carson and Jeb Bush by simply noting that “When somebody knocks me like Jeb Bush or anybody else, I at least decide that I think it’s appropriate to fight back.”

However, after labeling Dr. Ben Carson an "OK Doctor" on CNN Thursday, Trump revised his statement to Van Susteren by saying, “I’m sure he’s a good doctor, I think that he’s overrated as a doctor."

Dr. Ben Carson was the first person to successfully separate conjoined twins and has surged to the no. 2 spot in the latest polls.
