Former GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney is blaming the government for the spread of wildfires in California.

His comments came in a Thursday morning tweet:

The Washington Examiner noted at least 21 people have died in California, where fires have raced through the Napa Valley wine region. The fires have destroyed 3,500 structures and forced 25,000 people to flee.
