Morning Consult Poll: Trump Trailing Clinton by 1 Point

Donald Trump is sneaking up on Hillary Clinton, trailing her by just one point in a new poll released Tuesday.

The Morning Consult survey breaks voters' support down like this:

• Clinton: 41 percent
• Trump: 40 percent
• Don't Know/No Opinion: 19 percent

With libertarian candidate Gary Johnson added into the mix, the results show support as:

• Clinton: 38 percent
• Trump: 37 percent
• Johnson: 11 percent
• Don't Know/No Opinion: 15 percent

The survey's margin of error is plus or minus 2 percentage points.

According to an averaging of polls by Real Clear Politics, Clinton is ahead of Trump by 4.6 points.
