Trump: 'I Might Be Right, I Might Be Wrong' to Attack Republicans

Although the media took the brunt of Donald Trump's bashing Tuesday, the presumptive GOP nominee took advantage of an opportunity to remind certain Republicans that it's time to get on board.

"If I have a Republican that is not on my side … why should I be particularly nice to that person?" he asked in a Wall Street Journal report.

Last week Trump went on a barrage of attacks on other Republicans, some old targets — Mitt Romney, Nikki Haley — but one new one in particular, Gov. Susana Martinez of New Mexico. Martinez had been critical of Trump, has not yet endorsed him, and didn't show up to an event of his in Albuquerque.

Trump hit Martinez by saying, "she's not doing the job" as the governor of New Mexico, among other things. Trump incurred criticism for attacking the GOP's highest-ranking Hispanic woman.

"If I have a person that's not going to support me, I have no obligation," the WSJ quoted Trump. "Politically, I might be right, I might be wrong, but that's who I am."
