Donald Trump took to Twitter late Monday night to bash Bernie Sanders for selling out to Hillary Clinton and calling it "sad to watch" the Vermont Senator "abandon his revolution."
Sanders threw his weight behind Clinton during a prime-time speech on Day 1 of the
Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia, saying, "I am proud to stand with her tonight" and "our revolution continues."
Trump was waiting.
Trump also had a jibe for two of the other Monday night speakers, Elizabeth Warren and Cory Booker.
Trump's son-in-law, Jared Kushner, was once good friends with Booker, fundraising and helping with the New Jersey senator's early campaigns.
