President-elect Donald Trump says he will release the names of "almost all" of Cabinet choices by next week.
"We have some other announcements coming up literally very soon, and people are loving our choices so far. We're gonna have an amazing Cabinet," Trump said Thursday in an interview with Fox News to air Friday, according to Politico.
"We already have some that we have, but they'll be starting next week big league. We have some tremendous people, tremendous people that are coming on ... We're getting credit for having one of the great Cabinets ever picked."
Trump's announcement came the same day he tapped retired Marine Gen. James Mattis to be his Secretary of Defense.
He's already named Alabama Sen. Jeff Sessions as Attorney General, American Federation for Children Chairwoman Betsy DeVos as Education Secretary, Georgia Rep. Tom Price as Secretary of Health and Human Services and former Labor Secretary Elaine Chao as Transportation Secretary.
Also tapped are former Goldman Sachs executive Steven Mnuchin as Treasury Secretary and billionaire private-equity investor Wilbur Ross as Commerce Secretary.
Still to be named are Trump secretaries for State, Interior, Homeland Security, Agriculture, Labor, Energy, Veterans Affairs and Housing and Urban Development.
