Though the 2016 presidential election is over by more than a year, the barbs continue between President Donald Trump and his Democratic opponent Hillary Clinton. On Saturday, Trump tweeted that Clinton was "the worst (and biggest) loser of all time," following a string of recent interviews Clinton has held during her book tour.

"Crooked Hillary Clinton is the worst (and biggest) loser of all time. She just can’t stop, which is so good for the Republican Party. Hillary, get on with your life and give it another try in three years!" Trump tweeted.

Clinton has been very vocal about her thoughts on the president and his administration while promoting her new book, "What Happened," about her reflections of her loss in the 2016 presidential race.

On Friday, Clinton told Mother Jones there were "lots of questions about" the legitimacy of Trump's election win last year. And, in an interview with WABC Radio host Rita Cosby on Friday she said she "didn't think he'd be as bad as he turned out to be."

Trump has often attacked "crooked Hillary" in interviews and on Twitter, criticizing her for numerous issues, including her election loss and ties between her and the Clinton Foundation to the sale of U.S. uranium to Russia while serving as secretary of State.
