President Barack Obama "hasn't had a scandal," according to his close adviser Valerie Jarrett.
"The president prides himself on the fact that his administration hasn't had a scandal and he hasn't done something to embarrass himself," Jarrett said in an interview with CNN on Sunday, according to the New York Post.
Obama made the same claim in November, during a press conference in Lima, Peru.
Jarrett, who is close friends with both the president and the First Lady, added that they're good people who do good work.
"That's because that's who he is — that's who they are — and I think that's what really resonates with the American people."
Tom Fitton, president of conservative watchdog foundation Judicial Watch, called Jarrett's claim "delusional."
"The Obama administration has a scandal rap sheet longer than my arm. Between just the IRS abuses, Benghazi, and the Hillary Clinton scandals, this administration was even more corrupt than Nixon's," Fitton told the Post.
