Republicans make the case against Donald Trump in a new television ad for Hillary Clinton.
The 30-second spot, "Agree," features the anti-Trump remarks of GOP Sens. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, Ben Sasse of Nebraska and Jeff Flake of Arizona, as well as from 2012 Republican nominee Mitt Romney.
"I just cannot support Donald Trump," GOP Maine Sen. Susan Maine is finally shown saying, followed by the words: "Unfit. Dangerous. Even for Republicans."
The ad is part of an already existing broadcast and cable ad campaign in Florida, Iowa, North Carolina, Nevada, Ohio, Pennsylvania and the Omaha media markets, the Saint Peters Blog reports.
Trump hit back at his videotaped critics Saturday, tweeting it was "really sad that Republicans would allow themselves to be used in a Clinton ad."
Though the Clinton campaign touted the Democratic nominee's "ability to work across the aisle to get things done," according to CNN, the release comes in the wake of her inflammatory remarks that half of Trump's supporters are "deplorables."
Clinton quickly expressed her "regret" for lumping "half" of his supporters into that category, saying "That was wrong."
