Judge Napolitano: Obama Used Brit Spy Agency to Surveil Trump

Fox News' "Fox & Friends"

By    |   Tuesday, 14 March 2017 11:56 AM

Judge Andrew Napolitano said Tuesday former President Barack Obama used a British spy agency to surveil President Donald Trump, effectively eliminating any trail leading back to the administration.

Napolitano said Obama eschewed every American spy agency and instead used Government Communications Headquarters (GCHQ), "the British spying agency . . . (with) 24-7 access to the NSA database."

"Three intelligence sources have informed Fox News that President Obama went outside the chain of command," Napolitano told Fox News' "Fox & Friends." "There's no American fingerprints on this."

A U.K. government spokesperson told Newsmax on Tuesday night "no part of this story is true."

Judge Napolitano said two people went to the GCHQ on behalf of Obama.

"President Obama needs transcripts of conversations involving candidate Trump, conversations involving President-elect Trump, he's able to get it," Napolitano told Fox.

"What happened to the guy who ordered this? Resigned three days after Donald Trump was inaugurated," Judge Napolitano said.
