Actor Kirk Cameron made his name on the hit show "Growing Pains" and America's own recent growing pains have him inspired to lead a national family meeting for Christians in 1,000 theaters around the country Tuesday, Oct. 18, calling it Revive Us.
"Moms are concerned about the future of their children; dads know the nation is broken," Cameron told Newsmax TV's host J.D. Hayworth on Friday's "Newsmax Prime." "Today I heard the phrase 'the United States of anxiety.' People are very concerned, and people wonder if we've reached the last days of our great nation.
"I want to say there has never been a more exciting time to be a Christian or a person of faith in America. This could be our finest hour where we step to the front and actually do what we're meant to do.
". . . I'm calling for a national family meeting. For the family of faith to come together in 1,000 theaters across America to worship together, pray together and to learn how to revive our nation from the inside out and the bottom up to the top."

Cameron's vision is to unite the masses through faith and rebuild our country from within.
"It starts with the heart and that revives the home, families are revived, churches, communities and then the nation," Cameron told Hayworth. "So this is a chance for us to come together as a family of faith and discuss these things in a safe environment. To worship and pray together and learn how we can make a difference for the future of America for our children."
"I hope you'll bring the kids, the parents, the grandparents, the whole family is invited because when the family gets together and the spirit moves, we're unstoppable," Cameron concluded.
