Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton are "two unelectable candidates who are running against each other," political strategist Dick Morris told Newsmax TV
"One of them has a 65 percent negative [rating], the other has a 55 percent negative," Morris told host Dennis Michael Lynch on "America Votes: 2016" in an interview. "You don't get presidential candidates with more than the mid-40s as negatives.
"And that's at the start of the general election campaign. Wait until you go through it."

"The only way Hillary Clinton can win is by making Donald Trump the issue and the only way Donald Trump can win is by making Hillary Clinton the issue," Morris said. "Both of them want to make the other one the issue so they can get by their primaries because they're very tough primaries.
"That's what you're seeing now. They're like bookends that hold each other up — and if one leads, the other's going to fall apart, too."
