Bill O'Reilly told Newsmax TV on Wednesday that "the Democratic Party is going to hang Judge Roy Moore around the neck of the Republican Party if he does win."
"Even if he wins," the Dec. 12 election, "he'll be isolated, he'll be a pariah, because his defense against the allegations was weak," O'Reilly told "Newsmax Now" host Bill Tucker in an interview.
"And, so, everybody in power is trying to distance themselves from him."

O'Reilly told Tucker that Alabama voters "loathe the media more, apparently, than the judge or what the judge allegedly did.
"It's a conservative state, red state — and many Alabamians say, 'We're not going to let The Washington Post or the national media intrude.'
"Now, whether that's a good strategy or not, it's hard to see how Judge Moore becomes an effective senator."
Regardless, voters have a tough choice, he said. Moore faces Democrat Doug Jones, a former U.S. attorney.
"You're either going to swallow hard and vote for Judge Moore because you don't want a Democrat and you don't want to validate the media — or you're going to vote or the Democratic candidate who is, I understand, a pretty solid guy.
"But that's up to the individual folks," O'Reilly said. "I don't think we should be disparaging any voters."
