Sen. John Barrasso said Wednesday that Hillary Clinton needs to take her share of the blame for the deal that's been reached with Iran over its nuclear capabilities after she told a Washington audience that she was the one who initially started the negotiating processes.

"She was the first one to throw in the towel [and] the first one to surrender," the senator told Fox News' "America's Newsroom" after Clinton's speech on the deal before a Washington D. C. audience.

He went on to call both Obama and Clinton "naive" through the whole deal process.

"His whole foreign policy has been the same way," said Barrasso, including issues with Russia, North Korea, Iran, Syria, and more, accusing Obama and Clinton, who served as his secretary of state, of taking "a naive approach to foreign policy."

Meanwhile, the senator told show co-host Martha MacCallum that the United Nations has had the opportunity to vote on the Iran deal, Iranians will likely have the opportunity to vote, but still Obama and Senate Democrats want to block the Senate from having a voice on it.

"They're filibustering it right now," Barrasso, who chairs the Senate Republican Policy Committee and is on the Foreign Relations Committee, said.

The agreement, he continued, does not stop Iran from getting a nuclear weapon, but it gives the country money to use for additional terrorist activities.

"The president said it is this or war," the senator said. "I think we have a much higher possibility of war and military action as a result of this deal ... there is no red line with this president and this administration," he said.
