The price for building the Obamacare website HealthCare.gov should have topped out at less than $10 million, tech experts have claimed.
"I would say to build a site like this with the infrastructure, the architecture around it, you are looking at maybe $5 million to $10 million at a very maximum rate," David Kennedy, President and CEO of TrustedSec also known as the "White Hat Hacker" told Sean Hannity on Fox News Wednesday.
"It isn't rocket science," Kennedy said. "Web application development is a proven science. Companies do it all the time."

Luke Chung, president and founder of FMS Software Solutions, said the front end of the website could have been built for $1 million, but he agreed with Kennedy that the whole thing should have cost from $5 to $10 million.
"This does not need to be a Silicon Valley space project," Chung said.
"None of these contractors are ever held accountable for delivering such crap," he added.
According to
a government analyst, the total cost for the glitch-ridden healthcare website has reached $1 billion.
Chung
told Newsmax in October the website cost hundreds of millions more than what it should have.
"I went on it and was just shocked by how poorly it was programed, how poorly it was designed," Chung said.
"I would be embarrassed for that to cost more than a million," Chung told Newsmax, referring to building the front end portion of the website.
Kennedy had also said earlier on Fox News Wednesday that no security was built into HealthCare.gov and it could take a year or more to fix it.
"It's a prime target for hackers right now," he said. "If you look at the type of information you put in there and the integration it has into other government agencies, you have the potential of all that information being exposed.
"And one of the most alarming pieces of information about this is that the federal government does not have to expose that there was a breach of data. So all your information can be taken and sold on the black market and you would have no idea," he warned.
The information HealthCare.gov users must cough up includes their name, birth date, social security number and credit card information.
"You have a huge recipe for . . . identity theft," Kennedy added.
He told Hannity that he would advise users to stay off the website, for now.
