Rasmussen reported Monday that 50 percent of likely U.S. voters approve of President Donald Trump's job performance in its daily presidential tracking poll, with 50 percent disapproving. This marks the first time in over a month that the president has ranked in the 50s.
Trump's approval stood at 59 percent just after inauguration, according to Rasmussen polling, and dropped as low as 42 percent in the months since he took office.
The latest figures also indicated 30 percent of respondents strongly approve of Trump's job performance and 39 percent strongly disapprove.
Rasmussen compiles their numbers from telephone surveys of 500 likely voters each night, as well as an online survey tool that randomly interviews selected participants who are demographically diverse.
Trump retweeted a tweet on Monday by The Drudge Report that highlighted Rasmussen's findings.
