Dick Morris' 'Armageddon' Soars to Top of Amazon

Dick Morris’ new book "Armageddon: How Trump Can Beat Hillary" has soared to the very top of the Amazon.com bestseller list Thursday – making it the most purchased book in the country – trailing only an unreleased Harry Potter book.

That makes Morris' book the #1 non-fiction book in the nation.

"Armageddon" had already been #1 on several Amazon categories, but the Amazon top ranking confirms Wednesday's report that the book had debuted at No. 4 on the August 7 New York Times nonfiction list.

Morris is a presidential strategist who was a close confidante and adviser for Bill and Hillary Clinton for two decades.

Written with co-author Eileen McGann, Morris' new book contains some of Hillary Clinton's darkest secrets that he has never told before.

Morris, a long-time friend of Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, has been giving the GOP nominee informal advice on his campaign.

Morris said he wrote the book as a warning. Hillary Clinton wants a one-party state for America. He says Trump can win, but he needs to throw out the old rules.
