Bill O'Reilly told Newsmax TV on Friday that President Donald Trump's rift with retiring Tennessee Republican Sen. Bob Corker "doesn't help anybody."
"I'm not getting really what this is all about, because it doesn't help anybody," O'Reilly told host Bill Tucker on "Newsmax Now" in an interview.

"It doesn't help Corker. It doesn't help President Trump. It doesn't help the country. It doesn't help the Republican Party.
"So who wins?" O'Reilly asked. "Nobody."
O'Reilly is the author of The New York Times best-selling book, "Killing England: The Brutal Struggle for American Independence."
He explained the dust-up between the two Republicans this way to Tucker:
"President Trump is an emotional guy. This is what people fail to understand.
"He's a calculating guy," O'Reilly continued. "He does think out why he does things and what he tweets and he goes, 'You know, I'm going to do this tweet and here's what I want out of it.'
"But he's very emotional — and if you come at him and he doesn't like what you're doing, he snaps.
"That's what happened with the Corker thing," O'Reilly concluded.
"And, then, it goes back and forth — and I'm going: 'Boys, boys, why are you doing this?' The folks don't care.'
"With all due respect, they don't know who Sen. Corker is unless you're from Tennessee," he said.
"They're going: 'Why are they doing this? We want a tax cut. We want better healthcare. We don't want this little fighting, so knock it off.'"
