Netanyahu to Meet Pope on December 2

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will meet with Pope Francis at the Vatican on December 2, Italian news agency ANSA reported on Saturday.

"Pope Francis will receive Israeli premier Benjamin Netanyahu in an audience on December 2," the agency said, citing "well-informed Vatican sources".

At Netanyahu's first meeting with Francis, the two leaders are expected to discuss nuclear talks with Iran and peace negotiations with the Palestinians.

Netanyahu's office had previously said the premier would be meeting with Francis in October, but the visit did not take place, reportedly due to time constraints.
