Fox News host Bill O'Reilly offered up praise for Newsmax on his show Tuesday night, calling our website's fact-based reporting "refreshing."
"Last night we had a segment on how nasty the upcoming presidential campaign is likely to be because of the defamatory websites," O'Reilly told viewers.
"Well, there are some exceptions to the sewer. Check out Newsmax.com. It had some very interesting political analysis. Chris Ruddy and the guys actually try to gather facts, which is refreshing.
"That's the tip of the day."

O'Reilly was no doubt subtly responding to a blog written this week by Newsmax CEO Christopher Ruddy in response to recent accusations that O'Reilly fabricated reports about his journalistic work.
Calling those accusations "much ado about nothing," Ruddy pointed out that O'Reilly never claimed, as has been charged, that he was present at the fighting on the Falkland Islands during the 1982 Argentina-Britain clash.
Rather, he reported on a dangerous riot in Buenos Aires during the war in which the military fired on protesters. O'Reilly's account has been backed up by several colleagues, Ruddy noted, including former NBC News Central and South America Bureau Chief Don Browne.
