Jeff Sessions, our current attorney general, is a nice man who I call Jeff as he calls me Larry. Indeed, he is an honorable southern gentleman, and I know and can appreciate that is since I have lived most of my adult years in the south.

While I graduated from Duke University in 1973 and later Emory University School of Law in 1977, and spent the next few years in Miami, Florida, as a young associate with the law firm of Blackwell and Walker, and later ran for the U.S. Senate in Florida in 2003-2004, with an interim 20-plus years below the Mason Dixon line in Washington, D.C., these life experiences are not the only bases to feel some kinship with Jeff, the former senator from Alabama. Generally speaking, Jeff and I share similar conservative views, and although we are hardly endorsed by the Southern Poverty Law Center or People for the American Way, two profiteering ultra-leftist groups who falsely brand anyone who disagrees with their ideology a so called “Hate Group or Person,” neither of us are racists, however fashionable the term has become in the last decade of the nation’s prior rule under President Barack Obama and his then-attorneys general Eric Holder and Loretta Lynch.

But when it comes to Jeff and his predicament, I have to put my regional and political ideologies aside and talk straight. Simply put, the man has not done his job; nor has he implemented what he has done in an intelligent manner, having been indirectly responsible for the appointment of Special Counsel Robert Mueller. And, why is that? The answer is very simple! Having been accused by Democrats and some Republican establishment “anti-Trumpers” in Congress of having lied to the venerable do-nothing body about his having met with the Russian ambassador in the months, weeks, and days leading up to the presidential election in 2016, Jeff fears that these forces will turn further against him and initiate perjury proceedings which could also eventually lead to his impeachment if he is not otherwise “guilted” into eventual resignation. Add that to the on-going out-of-control legal jihad now being waged by Special Counsel Robert Mueller against President Trump and his family and associates, all paid for on your dime. Given the 17 lawyers Mueller has hired to do a hit on anyone in and around the president, including Jeff, you can understand why our current attorney general has receded into his fox hole.

The bottom line is this: If Jeff is not willing to put his own personal and professional interests aside — and he shows no inclination to do so — he must do what is best for the nation and simply step down as attorney general? Given his refusal to even entertain a review of the Sheriff Joe Apraio and Cliven Bundy political prosecutions commenced by his predecessor Loretta Lynch under watchful eye of and obvious direction of President Obama, which I requested before President Trump, who apparently requested the same thing but was also shown the back of Jeff’s timid hand, had to step in and pardon the sheriff, this “litmus test of cowardice” tells the tale.

So too does Jeff’s having reflexively ordered a Justice Department investigation of white supremacists, Klansmen, and Neo-Nazis over their abhorrent actions in Charlottesville, Virginia, but has failed to do so over Antifa and their Black Lives Matter and other leftist accomplices at that event. Couple this with Jeff’s also apparent refusal to commence bona fide investigations into the wiretapping and illegal surveillance of the Trump Tower, and the mass illegal and constitutional surveillance of hundreds of millions of Americans, not to mention Supreme Court justices, hundreds of other judges and other prominent citizens as revealed by my client, Dennis Montgomery, a whistleblower former NSA/CIA contractor, and you can easily see what I have been talking about for many weeks. And, this is not to mention reinstituting a real investigation of Hillary Clinton’s misuse of her email server and “pay for play” between the Clinton Foundation and State Department.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions has become an ineffective Republican establishment elephant and while this is sad, it's time for him to go.

Former President Richard Nixon, and I am not totally equating Jeff with him — despite Nixon’s many virtues save for Watergate — knew when it was time to resign for the good of the nation.

Jeff, be a man, and resign as well! Given your “sensitivity” to the bite of the slimy Washington, D.C. swamp composed of Democrats and two-faced establishment Republicans, there is lots of money to be made now becoming a lobbyist on K Street. But your time as attorney general has now come and gone, if you do not immediately have a “legal epiphany” and finally decide to do your job as the nation’s chief law enforcement officer.

I urge you all to contact the attorney general and demand that he do his job or resign!
